UMSON Spring 2015

Hello everyone! I may be a little early with this, but here's a new post for all of you hoping to apply this September 2nd for the Spring 2015 semester at UMSON. You can post questions you have, helpful advice you would like to give (if you're already in the program), etc.

I specifically have a question for those who have already applied to the Spring 2014 semester and got in. When you applied last September, when in November did you get your acceptance letter in the mail? Was it the beginning, middle, or toward the end of November? I'm asking this because the other nursing school I am applying to only gives a 3-week time period after the end of October (when they let you know if you made it in or not) to accept or decline enrollment. So, if I don't make it into UMSON, I'd want to be able to give this other nursing school an answer before the 3-week time period runs out.

He got his orders changed and doesn't have to be shipped to Korea! Best news I have heard all day, now just waiting for a decision! I am starting to make myself crazy because it can be any day now!

KayBee09 - that's awesome!! I'm so glad things worked out :) I emailed the admissions office earlier this week and they said to expect to hear back from them within the next 3-4 weeks!! wahoooo goodluck!

3-4 weeks?? That's still so long! I have to register for classes at my current school this Friday and I'm still waiting to hear from usmon!

Wow, I was hoping more like 2ish weeks to hear back! It will be almost thanksgiving by the time we hear!

Yeah! It's so late It's making me nervous haha. I'm hoping around the 2nd week of nov!

Also, littlemango, when you look at the course catalog, how can you tell which sections are for SG and which are for Baltimore? Is Baltimore the "Main Campus" and Shady Grove the "off-campus campus?"

I'm hoping it will be the 1st week of November! Hoping... Also, usedtobecool84 I went to the Universities of Shady Grove's website for the schedule... Not sure how to access Baltimore's!

3-4 weeks is ridiculous!! When I first applied they told me decisions would be made late October to early November! If I don't get into UMSON then I would need to register for different classes in the next two weeks!

3-4 weeks! I'm excited I know when I will find out but geezz.. that is further away than when I thought I was going to hear from them.. As long as it is before December I don't think it should interfere with the Towson nursing deadlines.. I just really hope I hear before the 20th because that is when I scheduled a physical and I only wanted my doctor to have to fill out one form.. oh well... Also I'll be hearing right around my birthday! Nov 21!!
