UMSON Fall 2015

REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).

This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!

I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:

AP1. -- B

AP2. -- A

CHEM -- B

MICRO -- A

I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)

Are Baltimore and Shady grove applicants notified unanimously or does one happen before the other?

No it's not unanimous. But hopefully Baltimore applicants will be able to hear something starting next week :) I'm still at Complete and ready for review. I don't think mine will change to committee ready till I receive an acceptance or rejection lol. Congrats to the NP applicants who got in :)

My application status changed to admit institution, but no call or email. Should I be worried?

@rayoflight thanks so much!! i applied to the bsn to dnp program at baltimore. i was just a little weary because most people on this forum got a call or email first. i just checked my application about an hour ago and was surprised to see that a decision had been made. i rechecked my email, missed calls, and voicemail but nothing from maryland. i'm guessing the decision was made after hours yesterday and should be getting a call on monday.

I wouldn't worry about that too much, you've made it thru the hardest part! Good luck with your studies!

I just check my account today. Decision is updated into Committee Ready. I apply for Trad BSN @Shady Grove.

Getting so nervous reading everyone's post about changing to committee ready and I'm stil at complete ready for review. staying hopeful tho! Congrats to everyone who already heard their decisions!!

Hello everyone! I am also anxiously waiting to hear something back from UMSON for the Fall. I have been checking multiple times a day for over a month now, and still stressing! My status remains at "Complete and Ready for Review", which does make me a little nervous as well. But there is no real use staying that nervous, because it is what it is! I just wish I had an answer one way or another!!!

SO NERVOUS!

This morning it looks like my application finally went to Committee Ready, so that's exciting! .... I hope! :(
