UMSON fall 2016 hopefuls ?

Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.

I would assume they are waiting to see what kind of acceptances they have from the people they admitted the last 2 weeks. I believe you only have 2 weeks to accept and put down a deposit so that would make sense as to why most people will know in the next 14 days. I guess all we can do is wait it out and hope for the best!

Hey CNL people,

I spoke with Ms. Jackson this morning and she informed me that she was heading to a committee meeting where they are going to make FINAL decisions on the folks still waiting...not sure if this is good or bad for us but we should hear something SOON! Stay optimistic, its coming!

1. Not all decisions have been made. 2. Accepted students have two weeks to accept our offer - unaccepted offers, once received, will trigger a review of the wait list and selection of applicants to receive offers of admission. 3. Usually somewhere between 15 and 25% of accepted students were on the wait list. 4. Because admissions are later than usual, I would not be surprised if more than usual offers will be turned down and therefore more than usual numbers of accepted students will come from the wait list. Thank you for the information. Looking forward to hearing from the committee. Any idea what percentage of the applications are still outstanding to be reviewed for the BSN program at Shady Grove?

Is the final decision for the CNL applicants who have interviewed already or including those that have yet to do the interview?

I think it is for people who have not yet interviewed! I am pretty sure they are wrapping up the admissions process and the final interviews will be next week until they fill the cohort. And yes! Stay optimistic!

Anyone that applied to Shady Grove BSN should check their status. I found out this morning that I am a provisional admit for the Fall of 2016 @ Shady Grove. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear!
