UMSON fall 2016 hopefuls ?

Published

Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.

Does anyone know if there is any rhyme or reason to how they updates our admission status online? Like alphabetically or like how you ranked in the applicant pool and what not?

No, there is no rhyme or reason as there are many, many variables. As hard as it is to wait, that is the only thing you can do.

I am in the same boat. I have been committee ready for for at least a month. I am hoping to get good news. Good luck to everyone.

For clarification, I am waiting for Shady Grove.

@SilverSpringNurse16, the good thing about still waiting is that they have yet to review your application. Those of us who got either Wait Listed/Rejected have final(ish) decisions so you could have a better chance of getting admitted! Hang in there :)

@kayrock did you apply to Baltimore or Shady Grove?

I applied to Shady Grove, which is what made me nervous initially because most of the acceptances were for Shady Grove. Not too much any more though since I'm waitlisted!

I am concerned that by the time they get to my application, there will be few if any spots left.

same here :( esp since i still have to do an interview for CNL. im so mad because i applied before the deadline and still haven't heard back ugh.

Hey guys. Im new here. Im BSN fall 2016 applicant. Application still says "Committee Ready" im thinking they are leaving the rejected applications for last update. Thoughts? I called them, they said decisions will be updated end of april - early may...

I just called and they said traditional BSN applicants will have their decisions released within the next two weeks [emoji31]

Did they say if there are any remaining spots? Or is it a matter of being wait listed or rejected at this point?

@silverspringnurse16 they can't tell you that unfortunately
