Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.

are you going to retake microbio? And great job on the Teas!

I don't think I will be. I'm going to be taking bio though to apply to the Towson program. Both of these universities are extremely competitive so I don't even know what chances I have of getting in.

How did everyone else do on their teas?

Can you tell me how did you prepare for hot teas and get such a great score ? I am dying for any assistance with the teas . Thanks

I have the book from ati and don't know where to start .

you haven't taken it yet?

honestly i just studied my butt off, took practice tests over and over again. The science section does not cover everything. It goes more in depth so I would suggest learning the fundamentals of all of of the science material.

Read the book front to cover and this thread, it helped me a lot for topics that weren't covered in the book: https://allnurses.com/teas-exam-help/how-i-passed-804222.html

Can anyone tell me what those initials mean: sw, sj, jr? Everytime they check a requirement that they received, I see one of these in the notes. Like, Prerequisite Course list --> Received Jan 11 --> Note: sw. What does the "sw" stand for?
