UMSON Fall 2016 BSN-DNP

Hello everyone!

As far as I can tell, no one has started a thread for the BSN-DNP program for this coming fall.

So to all my fellow applicants, is anyone else compulsively checking SURFS despite the fact that the deadline to submit applications was just last week? lol

Also, does anyone know if an interview is guaranteed if you meet the minimum requirements?

So you don't get a formal rejection?!

I was interviewed last week for the PNP program and have had my application status change to "admit" so woohoo! I'm in. Yay!!

I still have not received an emailed letter of acceptance. Wondering when I'll get the official admittance letter. Any ideas? It still doesn't feel real without anything official. You know?

It may take a few days for your status to be updated and for an email to be sent to you.

Your formal admission letter and confirmation form will be attached to the email and they give you 2 weeks from thw date on the letter to pay the deposit and accept admission.

They updated my status- officially rejected.

Time to regroup, take some CWO, gain my CMC and CSC sub-certs, and try again for next semester.

Congrats to all those who got accepted!! To those still waiting or did not get in, I feel your pain.

Snowbunny, I am so sorry! Hang in there. Do CWO and maybe ask to meet with someone in admissions to ask what you can do to strengthen your application for next time. I hope to see you next year.

I paid my deposit weeks ago and still haven't heard back about an advisor.

I have been wait listed as well for the FNP program, no idea how long the wait will be now... Hope it's not a long wait list!

I am BSN to DNP as well. I was told that advisor information and registration would be provided at orientation. I am sure we will hear back soon. Hopefully before then.
