UMSON Fall 2016 BSN-DNP

Hello everyone!

As far as I can tell, no one has started a thread for the BSN-DNP program for this coming fall.

So to all my fellow applicants, is anyone else compulsively checking SURFS despite the fact that the deadline to submit applications was just last week? lol

Also, does anyone know if an interview is guaranteed if you meet the minimum requirements?

Anyone else apply to FNP?

Hey guys! I was just contacted today for an interview for the FNP program! So nervous but was a little reassured reading about everyones experience. Congrats to all who have interviewed and been accepted! I'll keep you posted on my status.

Gosh I hope so. Fingers crossed! I'm sure if I asked, I could read them.

I'm going to ask my MIL to take a look at my application. She's a DNP on the admissions board for another school (military- I cant apply) so she can give me some pointers. I'm glad you got called for an interview today Nera. There's still hope Ill get that email!

Has anyone applied to the PNP program? I'm sure it's probably a small cohort.

Sheila023, as far as I know, no one on here is applying to the pediatric NP program. So far I have seen PMHNP, AGACNP and FNP. You would be the first PNP applicant. Do you have an interview date?

Everyone that was accepted have you paid your deposit? Have you heard anything back from Admissions? I was told that after deposit is paid we would hear about our advisors. Would be nice to hear updates

I have paid my deposit but I haven't sent in my letter because I have not received it in the mail yet.

Wait it did they mail out acceptance letters?

I received my acceptance letter in the mail but I actually got an email before that with the letter and confirmation form attached. I would call admissions office and ask for the form to be emailed to you

The hard part of seeing everyone else get accepted is waiting for your status to finally say rejected. I would apply for course work only and focus your attention on strengthening your application for next year.

I received the email last Thursday, I just thought I would have received it in the mail by now.
