Ello...I have applied. I don't think they will interview everyone. I have been doing good about checking my account. I only check like 2 or 3 times a day, which is good for me lol. But I don't think it will charge until the end of the month. What is your current status?

I'm in the same boat! Just started a similar thread yesterday. I only check once every other week because I know it won't change for a while. My colleagues got into the acute care np program for fall 2015 and they interviewed in March so hopefully we don't have to wait too long to hear back! Can't wait

My status changed to committee ready a few weeks back, but there haven't been any changes since then. Looking back at previous threads, it looks like last year's applicants were contacted for an interview about a month and half after the application deadline. Based on this, I'm guessing we should hear about an interview in the next two weeks or so. Has anyone been contacted for an interview yet?

Also, for whatever reason, I could not reset my password to my original account so I had to create a new one. I am the same person who started this thread originally. Here's hoping more people respond to the thread so we that we can start a more engaging diaglogue.

I applied to the psych program. You? Also, do you have any idea what the interview/writing sample questions are like?

Me 2...I don't know about the sample questions, but I heard the interview wasn't that bad.

You don't by any chance know how many people they usually accept into the program do you? I asked somone from the admissions office how many people were accepted last year verses how many people applied, but she said she didn't have access to that information :/ I just wish I had some idea of the general student profile of those who have been accepted in the past, i.e. GPA, years of experience, certifcations, etc. If you don't mind me asking, do you work in the psychiatric field currently?

I know they only accept roughly 15 applicants. Yes I currently do work in the psychiatry field.

I went to the admissions office and was told that FNP applications will not be reviewed till after new year. I know some current students who started in the acute care NP program for Fall 2015, and they didn't get interviewed until March 2015. I was told by the admissions office that they are still accepting applications for the FNP program. I honestly don't know about the psych program but I am looking more towards the end of January to hear back.
