UMSON Fall 2016 BSN-DNP

Hello everyone!

As far as I can tell, no one has started a thread for the BSN-DNP program for this coming fall.

So to all my fellow applicants, is anyone else compulsively checking SURFS despite the fact that the deadline to submit applications was just last week? lol

Also, does anyone know if an interview is guaranteed if you meet the minimum requirements?

My interview is at 1 pm. I think we have to do our writing assignment on the computer before the 15th. At least that that's how they did it last year. In the email I received it stated that I would review instructions for it on Jan. 12th.

Wow! I actually got a call today for an interview. Apparently they have sent emails that I did not receive! And I have been calling their office like crazy! Will follow-up with them tomorrow to schedule actual interview date.I am so excited to finally be moving forward!

So my interview actually happened today! I was in shock when i was told yesterday that I could either interview today or tomorrow. It was a panel of 4 people and they made me feel at ease. I thought it went so-so. I was nervous. Now i am even more anxious to know what the outcome is.

The writing assignment is online and i did it at home last night. It was fairly straightforward. You had 30 minutes to complete it.

Aww at least it's over. I got instructions for my writing assignment yesterday while I was at work so I plan to do it at some point today. I'm nervous about which topic I should pick, but it is what it is. I wish I could be done with everything.

Don't worry about the writing assignment. It is not bad at all. I went with my gut and picked the odd one out. All the best with it.

Are we really going to be waiting for 4-6 weeks to hear back? Wow! I was hoping we would hear back within 2 weeks :(
