UMSON DNP Fall 2017

Published

Hi all,

I have applied to the UMSON DNP FNP program for the fall 2017. My application has been submitted since November 1st. My status as of right now says "committee ready." I am feeling pretty anxious about it :nailbiting: and was wondering if anyone else out there is in the same boat. Feel free to chime in with anything, I'm sure we can all support each other through this!

So sorry to hear Shannon7792. At least you have a plan for what to do next time. My application still says Complete Ready for Review/Committee Ready- nothing has changed since November. Is anyone else on this island with me?

Hey there,

i know I am new to this posting, but I was wondering if your status online still says "committee ready." Mine does...& it is killing me! I keep calling the school, but they keep saying "youbwill know before April. Sometimes they send acceptances and denials every 2 weeks."

Have you heard anything ??

I'm in your same boat allynicole18.

Are you both FNP applicants?

I am a FNP applicant. It just boggles my mind. Let me know if anything changes!

I am a FNP applicant as well. I interviewed on January 9th.

Specializes in CCRN.

I know the wait must be driving you all crazy. It definitely gave me the worst anxiety I had ever felt before.

When you get accepted, they send you an email and official mailed letter that gives you 2 weeks from the posted date on the letter to either accept or reject/defer your acceptance and pay your deposit. Thats probably why they are telling you new decisions come out every few weeks bc they are waiting to hear back so they can offer those spots. Its also a pretty small cohort, so theres that to consider as well.

Good luck guys. Im rooting for you!

Good luck everyone!

AllyNicole18, did you hear anything? I am waitlisted.

Hi, I don't know if anyone will see this, but, I wanted to see if anyone recommends a good area to live with kids in Middle School and Elementary School. I am looking online, but, would appreciate personal experience as well. Thanks in advance.
