UMSON DNP Fall 2017

I applied as well for the AG-ACNP program for fall 2017. Ive been committee ready for a while and got my interview invitation last week. Pretty nervous about it. Just went out and bought a new suit today for it. Hoping all goes well!

Congrats on your invite! I also got an invitation for an interview and I'm pretty nervous as well. Last year it looks like they had essays... I did not receive any essay questions yet so I guess I will be on the lookout. I just actually got an email confirming my interview, I hope we do well in our interviews.

Hi guys! I applied to the psych dnp program and have not heard anything. My application says committee ready. Do you know if they send all the different programs interview invitations at the same time? I am really anxious that I still haven't heard anything. I've been calling the admissions office, but no one's picked up.

Hm, I'm not sure but I know the admissions committee will be back from break on 1/3/17

Awesome, good luck to you as well. Hopefully you hear something soon. I guess since they we applied for different specialties maybe they have different committees. Keep us updated!

Thanks! I just called admissions and they said that the psych interview invitations have not gone out yet, which is a huge relief. He also said there are different committees for the different specialties, but I should be hearing soon.

Hey guys!

Had my interview today. I was so nervous the whole time! They asked pretty straightforward questions and the faculty was very nice. They just want to get a feel of who you are.

The coordinator Ms Jones told me they are interveiwing for the different cohorts this month and decisions should be made by early February. Im going to go stalk last years forum to see turnaround times. I remember them waiting a couple weeks before hearing back.

They also never mentioned any writing assignments in the email or in the interview. So I dont know if they are still doing them.

Guys I just got an email for an interview!!! Snowbunny I'm glad your interview went well:). Do you have any pointers for the interview? I'm so nervous and am trying to prepare for it. My email didn't include a writing component either.
