UMSON DNP Fall 2017

Hi all,

I have applied to the UMSON DNP FNP program for the fall 2017. My application has been submitted since November 1st. My status as of right now says "committee ready." I am feeling pretty anxious about it :nailbiting: and was wondering if anyone else out there is in the same boat. Feel free to chime in with anything, I'm sure we can all support each other through this!

I am also feeling pretty anxious right about now! I hope we hear soon.

Thanks everyone, very much appreciated. So so sorry for my delayed response though! The answer is No - my surfs didn't change yet, and still says "Comittee ready." Hoping everyone not only hears back soon, but hears back good news of acceptance !

Different specialties may have different times they notify applicants though too. Because I know some people are acute care NP and psych NP on here as well. Best of luck everyone, wishing you all well !

I've been checking these forums pretty diligently and seemed to have missed if most people have had interviews yet. I applied for Acute Care and have not received an interview. Anyone else still waiting for an interview? Seems a bit grim by now.

There is still hope. Admissions told me they are still interviewing.

I appreciate the response. I've got 5 years ICU experience, completed my own process improvement project, and am active on 3 committees. My GPA is in the lower 3 range depending on whether they factor only prereqs, entire college GPA, or just the last 60 credits... It is always tough considering what they might want in a potential candidate. Might as well lean on other school applications at this point. Thank you again.

Hey all! I got accepted today, got a call around 430pm! They said I would get my formal offer letter in 2 weeks or so! No status change also. Hoping for the best for the rest of you guys!!

Hey all, congrats to all who got in! I applied for the shady grove FNP and my online status just changed to waitlisted. Anyone have any clue how long it has taken to hear back in the past ?

Hey guys,

Congrats to everyone who got into the FNP and PMHNP programs!! I applied for the AGACNP program, had my interview Jan 12, and am waiting to hear back or have my application status change online. I was told during the interview decisions would be made second week of february! Sn0wbunny217, BSN and Tharius, BSN I think you're the only ones in this thread who I've noticed also applied to that program... Has anyone heard anything back yet?

Thanks! Well you still have a chance, don't get down on yourself!! And yep I just checked my status today and it said admit-institution. It is for the shady grove FNP program.
