So I know its early but who else is applying?

Does anyone know how many students they accept every semester?

I was also waitlisted for the fall. I believe they accept 100 for Baltimore and 64 for Shady Grove.

Do you have any experience in the healthcare field? I'm wondering if that helps or not.

Hey everyone. I was waitlisted for fall semester, and reapplied for spring 18. I'm so freaking nervous this time around. I have a 3.4 gpa and an embarrassing teas score of 62. I wanted to retake the teas, but they told me my application was committee ready and it too late. I'm so frustrated.

Yeah i have experience in health care. I work for University of Maryland Medical Center. I dont think that helps.

So if you are put on the waitlist does that mean you are first to be chosen for the spring 2018?

I wish that were the case but I don't think so. I have read other comments from previous years of people who have been waitlisted 2 or 3 times. I hope they take it into consideration though.

Good news! I am committee ready and i received word that they are going to accept my chemistry. yay!

I just about had a heart attack. Got an alert that decisions were posted. Went to the site. Same status. Reread the email and went through the link and realized it was for UM College Park which I applied to by mistake thinking they had a nursing program. I did get in there though! Which doesn't help me with UMSON. LOL

I called the admission office today ! They said the decision will release at the beginning of November. They will release in batches. Everyone will get the decision before thanksgiving.
