Nursing Students School Programs

Hey!

So I know its early but who else is applying?

Hello!

I applied to UMSON for spring 2018. We are military and currently live in Washington state. Should be moving there soon. I have a 3.9 GPA, 4.0 science GPA, and a TEAS score of 80% which is "advanced". I took the TEAS without studying. I have prior experience as a medical assistant in internal medicine and pediatrics. I am excited to hear if I got in!

Mine still says "complete, ready for review." I wonder why that is.

Mine doesn't say committee ready yet. Still says complete ready for review. I have a 3.9 cumulative GPA, 4.0 science GPA , and a 80% on the TEAS with my highest score in math at 96%. Hoping the status changes soon.

Our grades are essentially the same. I have been a paramedic for 6 years so I'm hoping that counts for something as well! I'm in committee ready status now.

Are you referring to me? Mine still says complete ready for review. I wonder why some people's have changed already?

I was referring to kmarie08.

My status just changed to committee ready. I applied to the Baltimore location. I was previously waitlisted for the fall semester. I have a 3.5 cumulative gpa and a 3.25 science gpa. I scored an 84 on my TEAS. I also have my CNA, GNA, and CCMA certifications and have worked using my CNA/GNA.

I wonder if it goes by last name? Mine still says complete, ready for review.

My last name starts with a W and mine says committee ready

I am irate at this point. I attend school in Washington state at the moment. We are military and planning to move very soon. I get an email from admissions saying my Chem 121 Intro to Chemistry doesn't suffice for their chemistry requirement. They want General Chemistry with Lab. The Chem I took is the one required by my school's nursing school as well as thousands of others. It even says in the description that it's for nursing students. The one they say I need does not say for nursing students. Also mine says "formerly known as basic general chemistry". I am so upset. There has to be a way around this. I've worked my ass off and don't have the time to take another Chem class that is essentially the same. Anyone know anyone I can talk to get a waiver or something. I've made straight A's in all my sciences and think I've earned this.

I was worried about my chemistry also when I applied the first time because it was a chemistry for health professions course. Before I applied to the school, I emailed admissions a copy of the syllabus and my transcript for them to review the class and they approved it for the chemistry to transfer.

Hey everyone. I was waitlisted for fall semester, and reapplied for spring 18. I'm so freaking nervous this time around. I have a 3.4 gpa and an embarrassing teas score of 62. I wanted to retake the teas, but they told me my application was committee ready and it too late. I'm so frustrated.
