UMSON BSN Spring 2018

Hey!

So I know its early but who else is applying?

@pupik 3.35 cumulative and 3.25 science. My cumulative has gone up some since then. I had an 82 on the TEAS. I retook it for spring and now have an 84. I have my CNA/GNA/CCMA and have worked as a CNA. Also first-aid/CPR certified.

@FutureNurse0302 I have 0 "official" training in the medical field so that's what I'm really worried about.

Did anyone get a call last time around asking about what location they applied ..then placed on the waitlist? I wonder if that had anything to do with decisions or if it means anything.

When I was placed on the waitlist last semester, I did not get a call asking about location. No one else mentioned getting a call last semester either so it may be something new they are doing to prevent issues they have had in the past with placing people at the wrong location on accident.

Did everyone who got a call yesterday apply to shady grove? My guess is that they are just calling to clarify our location because probably in the past people accidentally clicked the shady grove button. I am assuming we are being taken under consideration and they just wanted to check if we actually are applying to shady grove.

I got a call yesterday. I applied to Baltimore location.

I got a call on Friday. I was waitlisted for Fall 2017. I applied to Shady Grove.

I have been trying to think of a reason why they called but now I just think its a good sign because that shows that they are interested in us maybe? Why would you want to confirm a location if they were just going to deny us? Positive thoughts!!

They did not call me last semester. I asked them when they called. They said, they just wanted to verify the campus.

First time applying, shady grove campus on application, called me to verify. Fingers crossed.
