Does anyone know what time orientation is? I know the dates are 11/28/ 11/30, 12/04, and one more (I can't remember that last date), but I have no clue what time it's at and that really affects which date I choose!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but if anyone admitted to the Baltimore campus has a dog and wants to do doggy-playdates, let me know! I'm already stressing about how I'll take my dog out 3x a day with the heavy school load, so maybe we could switch off walking (for example, I'd take yours and mine out in the morning, you'd take them out in the evening, or other way around).

I was accepted to the Baltimore location! I found out about an hour ago and am still in shock/giddy from the excitement!

Yep, I got one earlier this afternoon! I'm thinking maybe my application is borderline? I've heard that they have more room at the Shady Grove location, so maybe my application would have been accepted at Shady Grove but not Baltimore, and they just wanted to check? Honestly, idk, lol. I've spent the past few hours coming up with all kinds of theories, so the next few weeks (until decisions are released) are gonna be fun!

Do they release decisions based on order of application submission or alphabetical order by last name or anything?

I've been worrying about that too. That means if we're accepted then we'll have about 8 weeks to find housing, deal with the moving process itself/getting settled, and go through orientation/sign up for classes...all while finishing up the current semester. That and I'm just super impatient, lol.

I feel you. I check at least once a day, but that'll probably increase to 2-3 times a day by November! Lol.

I think @asknursejudz is talking about the CNL program, which (if I'm not mistaken) releases decisions before the BSN program.

I submitted my application in mid-August and the last of my recommendations in on September 1 (the deadline, lol), but I'm not seeing "Committee Ready" anywhere on the application status page.

Hi everyone! I'm applying for the BSN program but have found myself in a bit of a problem...the due date for the application is September 2, and I thought that I was all set (sent in my TEAS scores and transcripts, emailed my CV, and submitted the online application with the essay and everything) but it turns out that one of my recommenders has not sent in her recommendation form. I've tried emailing her and visiting her office hours, but just can't seem to reach her; it feels like she's ghosting me at this point. I have absolutely no idea what to do. I tried talking to the adviser at my current school, and her advice was to try and get another professor to write a recommendation but I haven't made connections with any other of my professors (I've been at the school for 2 semesters, the second of which I wasn't on campus very much due to a family emergency). Does anyone have any other advice? I'm guessing that this will ruin any chance of my being accepted, so I'm really freaking out right now.

Hi everyone! I'm gearing up to take the TEAS 6 in two days, and the anxiety is really starting to set in (although I know that worrying won't do me much good). This will be my first time taking the exam. To prepare, I've purchased study guides from Mometrix (ATI TEAS Secrets) and Amazon (ATI TEAS Study Manual, claims to be published by ATI), both of which include practice tests. At this point I've gone through each practice test multiple times and am feeling pretty comfortable with those questions, but would like to try a few other practice tests to make sure that I actually know the content and have no just memorized the questions. The only problem is that most of the practice exams are pretty pricey; the lowest price I can find for a trustworthy/credible practice test is from the ATI website, which lists the tests at $46 each. Because I've already spent so much money on the two study guides, I'm not quite willing to drop another $100+ (if I pass the exam, I'll need to have money to pay for nursing school itself! lol). Does anyone know of any free or reasonably priced (but credible) practice tests? TL;DR: looking for practice tests that won't break the bank

I haven't actually taken the TEAS yet (my test date is the 11th), however I'm not too crazy about Mometrix. Although I have heard that their videos are a great resource for the science section, I bought their study guide (sold on their website for $25) and found way too many issues to view them as a reliable resource.
