Hi,
Have anyone been given an acceptance letter for the Fall 2009 Accelerated BSN program? Are letters of acceptance coming out or does someone wait and they all come together?
Would somone let me know if they were accepted yet and if they have received a orientation date?
Thanks!
I just graduated from the UMDNJ ABSN program in may 2010. I know the majority of my classmates were accepted when they met the minimum requirements (3.0 gpa etc.) but maybe the program is more competitive now.
My review of UMDNJ is very good. If you are dedicated you should have no problem passing your courses. Also, don't believe the people that say you won't have any life outside of school. If you manage your time well and learn how to study you will have enough free time to do whatever you'd like to do.
Good luck getting in, hopefully the job market is better when you graduate.
Thanks for that info. You username is funny. How is the job market for your graduating class? Has it been hard to get a job?
The job market is terrible for every new grad in NJ. I know a few people from my class who were able to get new grad positions though.
I just took the NCLEX on tuesday and found out I passed at 9am today, so I have been focusing more on that than the job market.
It is going to be extremely difficult to find a job, the market is completely saturated.
Each level has a different amount of clinical days. Your expected to basically keep your whole week free. As a level one you have 1 clinical day, but dont be fooled, you will be working and busy the other 4 days!!!! During orientation you will get all your information about schedules classes and so forth. Good luck & Congrats!:)

Fall 2010 semester is full. It's a done deal.
We will be notified if we want our applications to be reviewed for the Spring semester. No guarantees we'll be accepted. Most likely we'll get notified around November/December about our status.
