Hello!!
Did anyone apply yet? I submitted my application and documents in, but NursingCAS is a bit annoying. I had to call them several times about them claiming to not receive all the pages from my references How are you guys making out with the process?
Marki'sMom - I'm sorry to hear that. Please do not be discouraged at all. You've gotten great suggestions so far. Also, I would definitely reapply for the Summer 2012, as long as you've met the GPA requirements.
I know a girl who applied to the UMDNJ PA program and she didn't get accepted the first time around, she called and asked why. She was told she wasn't a strong candidate. She did some internships and applied the following semester, got wait-listed, and eventually got a call right before the deadline date for acceptance.
I say all that to say, keep trying! I wish you the best.
I called UMDNJ last Friday and they told me they are still reviewing my application :uhoh21: I did not think it would take them this long to get back to me... considering the fact that I applied in August and sent copies of the requested syllabi in October. I don't want to keep calling because I doubt that will speed up my application. At this point, I'm just hoping to be pushed to the Summer session if accepted because I would like to give my job a month's notice of my resignation...
Can some one please help me out. I was accepted to the program at the Newark campus for spring 2012 but I have not heard anything since the original acceptance letter, which I received a few days before Thanksgiving. I sent in my deposit two weeks ago but the check has not been deposited yet.
Also I missed orientation could anyone tell me what happened that day.
I've called a few times and each time I am redirected to someone else with whom I leave a voicemail, only to get a call back the next day telling me to call someone else.
Thanks :)
@nutmeg12 the enrollment office is somewhat always busy so phone calls are not that effective.....try to actually go into the office to get all the info! I called/emailed so many times...but walking-in was the most effective one so far lol(if u live close to Newark campus, then definitely try to visit the office!) oh and the orientation...they give u lots of essential information..class schedule, book list, fin aid, parking etc...so u def want to contact someone in the program or enrollment office to get all the info! good luck!
