Hello!!
Did anyone apply yet? I submitted my application and documents in, but NursingCAS is a bit annoying. I had to call them several times about them claiming to not receive all the pages from my references How are you guys making out with the process?
Well the money that you would be awarded through FAFSA would be a student loan.. so that maybe what BSN to be is confused about. They usually don't give grants (such as Pell and Tag grant) to second degree students, but you can take out student loans that have a lower interest rate.
I called UMDNJ today about my application and was told they're reviewing the syllabi I sent and waiting on one more comment about whether they will accept my A&P courses or not =/ This process is taking so long...
Marki's Mom do not worry about it, because still there is a lot of time and still it's early. I called one of my friend even she did not hear any thing yet!!! So, there is 2 more months to hear from the school. Just for sure, school received everything from the NursingCAS right? and it is complete???
Has anyone know that: UMDNJ requires HESI exam for graduation from the school? or it is requirement for the NCLEX exam by the UMDNJ's policy?
Hi Everyone,
I was just notified of my acceptance...evidently the acceptance letter was lost in the mail...so I am trying to make a decision on UMDNJ vs. Georgetown or NYU ASAP. Any current A-BSN students at UMDNJ or grads from the program on this forum? I think hearing your opinions would be very helpful. UMDNJ is the least well known of the 3 schools I am deciding between but it is BY FARRR the cheapest; hence my consideration. Any thoughts on experiences with UMDNJ would be a great help to me. I love love loveee Georgetown and they put on a phenomenal meet and greet prior to sending acceptance letters and despite the cost I am having a hard time letting go with little to no knowledge on the program at UMDNJ specifically. Thanks!
Best,
Kim
Hi ktardalo! Congratulations on your acceptances. I think this thread would be very helpful to you - https://allnurses.com/nj-nursing-programs/umdnj-accelerated-bsn-205757.html - it has applicants and graduates from 2007 to the present and has lots of information that might be useful to you in your decision. Best of luck!
Thank you for the link. I've read the entire thing already - and unfortunately no recent students (2007 is a really long time ago) have posted anything useful as far as their experience with the program. That is why I asked. Please let me know if you have any personal experience with the program. I'm having a really difficult time getting someone from UMDNJ on the phone to answer my questions.

This money comes from FAFSA, does not matter if you are going for second degree or third degree..
