UMDNJ Accelerated BSN Spring 2012

Hello!!

Did anyone apply yet? I submitted my application and documents in, but NursingCAS is a bit annoying. I had to call them several times about them claiming to not receive all the pages from my references :uhoh3: How are you guys making out with the process?

hi philadelphialove! if you don't mind i have some questions for you please. i am starting the accelerated program in jan. how were your experiences at the clinical sites in the hospitals...do you think umdnj prepared the absn students for the nursing profession...thanks :)

I just got in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My GPA was a 3.77 and I got A's in all my prerequisites

I cant wait to meet all of you who got in! So who's starting a Facebook page??? I'm realy excited!

It was dated oct 24 and i recieved it on the 26th!!

If I were you, I would pressure them like I did since after acouple calls they told me they will review it in the next wk... and they did!

justfiguringitout my undergraduate gpa was 3.4. i had a mixture of a's, b's, and one c for the prereqs....not sure what my gpa was for prereqs...but i think umdnj looks at the applicant as a whole...i had strong reference letters, had lots of volunteer experience at hospital/daycares and police department, leadership experience (vice president of psych club), dyfs intern, and i am a cna. my essay was also very strong. so, i think that all this helped me get accepted. my advice to you is apply early and make sure you get everything in on time, including cpr. good luck!

BSN tobe; yes we are able to receive FAFSA, for our Accelerated BSN program which is up to $22.000:smokin:.. I do not know how many applicants Newark have for this Spring semester, but last fall semester was 437 applications they received...

Anyone has any idea about that; why Stratford Campus NOT receiving too many applications?? UMDNJ excellent University and accredited both Nationally&Regionally...Also they have Doctor of Nurse Practioner program too, which is absolutely AMAZING!!!!:yeah:

Where did you hear from that we can get up to $22,00 from? since I was reading other blogs and they said since its a secon degree, you can only get loans :(
