UMD SON CNL Spring 2018

Anyone else applied for spring 2018 at University of Maryland School of nursing CNL?

I've been posting on the other thread, but just thought I'd join in here too. I got accepted too! Yay! Congrats to those who've been accepted as well :)

My bio: I have a B.A. in Studio Art (graphic design concentration), although I did two years of electrical engineering, then 1 year of music, then finally settled on art haha. My interviewer seemed impressed with my varied background. I worked for 7 years in IT as a software developer/UI designer. I had a 3.0 GPA from UMD and have been taking my prereqs at Montgomery College where I currently have a 4.0. I'm completing my last 4 prereqs right now: Microbiology, A&P2, Nutrition, and Human Development.

For those still waiting on an interview or decision, just stay positive!! There are many more spaces to fill, I'm sure.

Hey guys.....just got my official acceptance letter on the mail today. The feeling is even greater than seeing the status change online lol. Truly grateful :) :) Elated!!!!

Yep got mine yesterday too! Feels more real now haha. But... they list me as out of state?! What?! I've been living in MD for the past 20 years lol. Gonna have to clarify that tomorrow.

I agree, it feels more real to get the letter confirmation! I was listed as out of state too which I was surprised by. I will be calling them tomorrow too haha.

Got my admission letter in the mail today and i was listed as out of state. When i called the registrar's office, the lady said they list all students as out of state until further documentation. So we'll just have to apply for in-state status and show some documents to prove we are indeed Maryland residents.

so I went to the interview august 31st, still have not gotten anything from the mail and my status is still committee ready. Is that a automatic rejection? Today makes it 4 weeks and I'm losing hope :(

Joyofcnl, I've been waiting to hear from you. I remember you were the first to comment on my thread back in June. I am sorry you haven't heard anything as of now, hoping and praying you get in. There's still hope

Has anyone else had difficulty getting scheduled for the step 1 orientation? I've called and left messages and sent multiple emails with no response.
