UMD SON CNL Spring 2018

Anyone else applied for spring 2018 at University of Maryland School of nursing CNL?

Has anyone else received an interview request, outside of those who got them on August 10th and August 15?

I submitted my application April 18, and had all required materials in by June 16th (two weeks before the priority deadline!). My status changed to "committee ready" on July 17th, but I've heard nothing back since then and I'm starting to drive myself crazy!!

So...had anyone heard back for more interviews, or have any insight on the timelines?

Have you tried calling? I've called a few times over the past few weeks including this morning, and they literally provide NO information, even when I asked if there was a typical timeline, based on previous years, for when people may start hearing back

No. Every time I tried calling I couldn't get through. I sent an email asking and didn't get any definitive information either. I also asked if they knew the approximate dates of orientation because I was planning my honeymoon for early January. I went ahead and booked the honeymoon because who knows if I got in and they haven't been helpful so far.

I'm not sure what the procedure is for responding to applications. I had my interview today by the director of the CNL program. She was very professional and helped me to relax. She said I will not hear anything until September into October so they are sill in the whole process of reviewing applications. Don't be discouraged, there is still time and I'm sure you will hear something soon.

Anyone else losing hope? I can't tell if I'm being premature in thinking that I'm getting a rejection, since I've had all my stuff in since June and been committee ready for 6 weeks and still haven't received an interview email.

Do they not send out some sort of rejection email or letter? Or do we just have to keep checking our application status?

Im sure they do send out official notices, but it'll probably show up online sooner. I really hope they'll send out another round of interview requests soon.

I had my interview today with a member of the faculty. The questions were straight forward. My interviewer said that they were at the beginning of the cycle so if you haven't been invited yet I wouldn't worry. I think that the first round of interviews are being completed this week. She said that I should hear something within 3-4 weeks

Hello! I received an interview invitation on September 7th. I had my interview yesterday September 13th. I'm nervous about how it went. I was told it would be about 3 weeks or so until a decision was made so now its just wait and see :/
