Published

Anyone else applied for spring 2018 at University of Maryland School of nursing CNL?

Hello! I received an interview invitation on September 7th. I had my interview yesterday September 13th. I'm nervous about how it went. I was told it would be about 3 weeks or so until a decision was made so now its just wait and see :/

Good luck! I'm sure you did fine!

Welcome to the waiting boat lol....I'm sure you did well. We will all see each other in January :) keeping my faith level really high on this one :)

Ditto! It is only the beginning. :) Welcome to the waiting area with us, haha.

Haha waiting area is better hahahah.....

Hey guys....just letting you know that decisions are going out. I got accepted for the program along with 3 others on the other thread that I know of. Good luck to everyone waiting. Did anyone in this thread get accepted?

Congratulations asknursejudz!! Thanks for the heads up - I checked my application status and I got accepted as well. I look forward to meeting you in January. Good luck to those who are still waiting!

Congratulations to you Sprent.....now I have to make sure a pass the last two courses I'm taking. R u still taking pre-reqs?

I'm still waiting for an interview... :-( If y'all don't mind what is your bio? I have a BA in psychology, overall GPA is somewhere high 2s, science GPA is 3.75... I am a medical secretary at a oncology hematology office... I want this so bad, I'm trying to stay calm but it's getting hard... All of my documents were submitted prior to June 15 and I am done with all my classes... FINGERS CROSSED FOR THOSE STILL WAITING! CONGRATS TO THOSE WHO HAVE GOTTEN IN!!! :-)

Good luck with your classes - you'll do great. What classes do you have left? I am done with my prereqs. so I'll just be working until classes start.

Hi love....don't be discouraged....there is still a lot of time. I'm sure they have not yet reached the target. As for me I have a B.Ed and M.Ed. (4.0 gpa for my M.Ed). Taught for 9 years but left that to take my pre requisites and focus on nursing. So far I have a 4.0 gpa in the pre requisites. Taking the final two this semester (chem and A&P 2). Keep your faith up and trust in God. He will make this happen for you. I still believe there are more spaces to fill.

Yes, I agree there is still a lot of time in the process. It will work out for you! Waiting is very hard.

My bio is - I have a BS in International Business. I have worked for five years at a healthcare organization. That got me interested in pursuing nursing. Spent this past year getting my prerequisite classes. I got a 3.8 gpa in the prerequisites.

Thanks y'all! I hope this is the first wave and more invites will go out soon! Again, congrats!
