That strange. They told me to upload one (which I did) but now it seems as if its gone.
We were told not to in the information session as well, but it seems as if everyone is told something different. I wouldn’t worry about it too much as long as you mention it in your essay. I didn’t send one and I got accepted. But since you were told to send one, email/send your resume to admissions again if you feel it didn’t reach them.
I applied for UMB ABSN program Summer 2022. I have a pretty strong medical background. 2 years full time as an EMT and a year as an ER tech at Tufts Medical Center downtown. Born and raised around Boston. My GPA in undergrad was right about 3.0, but my prereq GPA was about 3.7 ish. Like many people, I was told UMB does not consider applicants resume's (as the program is supposed to be for anyone with a bachelors, regardless of medical background), however if you have a medical background to highlight it in your essays and letters of recommendation. My letters are from nursing supervisors at different hospitals I have worked at, and my essays focused on my healthcare work. Was told to wait until early March 2022 for a decision. I also applied to Colby-Sawyer in NH as well as UNE in Portland, Maine. The only thing that worries me about UMB is how fast - paced it is at only 12 months. I have pretty good medical experience so the practical side of things does not worry me, but the academic does a little.

Ya I’m in the same boat as you but a lot more experience, 3.1gpa and pres 3.8,
all of my letters are from my medical control doctors and a co worker (3 total) but I’m also working in an ER now as a paramedic (prior critical care and fire service medic as well)

With that medic experience you'll be able to coast through nursing school. Aside from maybe Foley catheters and other general nursing skills you already have all the practical skills down from that experience. I'm a bit more nervous about the academic side of things, I've heard nursing school is more lecture heavy than skills heavy ( unlike EMS training which was about 50-50)

That’s on there website, but I thinks it’s 45000ish

It is from what I have been told
Did anyone put two classes for Growth and Development? I took Developmental Psych and Psychology of Aging to encompass the whole lifespan and put both of them on the pre-req supplemental form. However, checking it again I only see the info for Dev Psych showing which is making me feel pretty nervous that the other one won't be included in the evaluation. Anyone else have a similar pre-req history?

Hi everyone,
I applied for the fall semester, but was accepted for the Summer start date.
You’ll be checking admission status in the portal. As I was told by admissions, there are hundreds of applicants, so they will typically wait until the decision date that’s on the UMB site. However, if they believe you’re a good fit for the program, but for example, there weren’t enough spots for the semester that you applied for, you’ll get a call from admissions asking if you’d be interested in attending the following semester. I got that call about a day or two before the decision date.
This could happen to you, so be on the lookout for calls with a Boston area code a few days before they make decisions.
Hope that helps. Good luck!
