  1. We were told not to in the information session as well, but it seems as if everyone is told something different. I wouldn’t worry about it too much as long as you mention it in your essay. I didn’t send one and I got accepted. But since you were told to send one, email/send your resume to admissions again if you feel it didn’t reach them.
  2. I was told not to send a resume, but I could include any work experience I’d like to highlight in my essay. Find a way to work it into your essay if it’s one of your strengths as an applicant.
  3. Hi everyone, I applied for the fall semester, but was accepted for the Summer start date. You’ll be checking admission status in the portal. As I was told by admissions, there are hundreds of applicants, so they will typically wait until the decision date that’s on the UMB site. However, if they believe you’re a good fit for the program, but for example, there weren’t enough spots for the semester that you applied for, you’ll get a call from admissions asking if you’d be interested in attending the following semester. I got that call about a day or two before the decision date. This could happen to you, so be on the lookout for calls with a Boston area code a few days before they make decisions. Hope that helps. Good luck!
