UMB (UMass Boston) ABSN Summer 2022

Hey everyone

so I didn’t see a thread started about it I figured why not start one… 

I applied for the Summer program and have a very strong medical background.. 

So anyone else apply?

However, checking it again I only see the info for Dev Psych showing which is making me feel pretty nervous that the other one won't be included in the evaluation. Hey Guys 

So is everyone excited to find out, its almost time that we are going to be find out if we get into the program (T - week). I'm personally hopeful that I get into the program and I'm also excited to hit the ground running if I do. I currently work with a person just graduated from the program and have some good tips about making it.  I want to wish everyone good luck and send good vibs to everyone

Has anyone reached out to admissions to ask if we will most likely hear on March 1st? They said in the info session it would be a month of decisions but didn't say when.. I'm getting anxious ?

I had to reach out something that fell off on the portal and I was told "Early March"

Just got an email today so check your messages/portals!!

Was shocked to see I’m accepted, but most likely going to another school that replied first. Definitely curious about experience of people at umb right now though

I heard today as well, unfortunately I did not get in.

However the letter clearly stated that I was qualified and should reapply for the following semester.  Was about the nicest rejection letter I have ever received.  I know the program only has like a 20% or 25% acceptance rate (because its the cheapest program around so they get a ton of applications) so I'm guessing they can only take so many people for a given start date.  Going to wait and see what UNE in Portland, ME says next week and go from there.
