Hello! I am in the process of applying for the spring 2012 semester at the Baltimore campus!! I didn't see any threads out there yet for people who are applying so I figured I'd start one :) Feel free to share gpa, TEAS scores, etc and any updates on admission!! GOOD luck to everyone!
Hi Folks! I am a current CNL student at the Baltimore campus. If anyone has questions about this program, please do not hesitate to ask! Best of luck to you all during the admissions process!
Thanks, sewnew! I recognize your name from stalking last year's thread! I'm sure we'll have plenty of questions for you in the coming months...
Although it seems like there aren't as many of us on here as there were last year or the year before...
thanks sewnew!
AprilAnney: I know! I was thinking the same thing about there not being as many people following threads for this admission period. may be a good thing for us :) and my application still does not have my TEAS scores applied yet as of this morning I guess I will have to call about it again..

I guess I will have to call about it again..
Call them again just to check- but it's possible they have it. They were off Friday-Monday for the holiday...
Does anyone know how financial aid will work? I qualify for a few grants and get a few state scholarships at AACC- I was wondering if those grants will transfer over? I've already added UMB to my FAFSA. Will financial aid be determined before we need to make decisions (assuming that I get in…)?
Where's GreyLady from the other UMB posts? Wonder if she would know...
I wouldn't panic if I were you. If she is calling you in regards to something about your application, it's obviously something that can be fixed and she's trying to touch base with you to get it straightened out.
I haven't gotten a phone call from them- but I received a few emails before Sept. 1 letting me know what information of mine they had received and what was still missing (I got a few emails from Tara Zeeler and another person in the office). I got another email after everything was submitted telling me there was a bit of a formatting snafu with my resume. After everything was complete and good, I got another email telling me my stuff was ready to go. I'm honestly very surprised at how communicative they are. Most nursing schools just say "here's our requirements, submit your application, you'll hear from us in a few months". I was pleasantly pleased with their quickness to respond to questions and their friendliness throughout the whole process!

I wouldn't worry about the "requirements outstanding" status for now. It took a few days for them to put my information in the computer… But I would call the office and make sure they have it. I'm sure they will be inundated with calls next week- but it wouldn't hurt to check to make sure they have received all of your paperwork. I called a few times to make sure they had received transcripts and they were always pleasant as can be on the phone...
