I haven't heard anything yet. My status still says "Application in Review," but the status date changed to 7/30/2018.

UMB Spring 2012
All prerequisites need to be a minimum grade of C. However, once you've applied, you need to get at least B's in your remaining classes. Here's a quote from the UMB site under the BSN Admission Requirements tab: "Please note that students admitted to the Traditional BSN Program must earn a minimum grade of "B" in any additional coursework completed prior to enrolling at the School of Nursing and must present a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 ("B") otherwise admission will be withdrawn." So... If you are accepted, you'll need a B to keep your seat. If you are accepted and get a C, they will withdraw your admission for this spring semester, but that C can be used in your prereq list if you reapply next semester. History is not my thing either so I didn't take any history classes on purpose. Keep trying your best though! Talk to your professor and explain the situation. Ask them what you need to do/what extra credit work you can do to get that B. Your professor might be willing to work with you. Good luck!

UMB Spring 2012
Lol. I've been browsing old threads for other cohorts like a psycho. I started checking more these last few weeks after I read in an old thread that one person heard they were accepted a little over a month after the deadline. What I would give to know my fate right now!

marec22 posted earlier on this thread that they called the admissions office and was told we should hear back the first week of November. Threads for previous spring semesters say they started hearing around mid November.

I actually do have an AP credit that applies and had my scores sent a while ago, but I called and verified that they had received it. It just hasn't reflected that online yet. My TEAS score isn't updated either. I'm betting they're swamped.

Mine says the same thing! I don't have any peace of mind when I keep seeing that "requirements outstanding" status. When I called a few days ago, they told me that it just takes some time for them to sort through all the materials and update the system. They also said not to worry since emails and mail are date stamped. The office is closed for labor day weekend, so our statuses probably won't change until Tuesday at the earliest. I'm probably going to call in again and just make sure everything's ok because I didn't submit my app until this past Tuesday either. The website says to call if any of your supplemental materials arrived before your app, so you might want to call too and make sure they know that. Anyway, enjoy the long weekend! It's all we can do for now!

UMB Spring 2012
I'm excited too!! I have a feeling I'll have to keep busy so as not to think about checking my status all the time. I also took a look through last year's thread and one poster didn't find out they were accepted until December!

UMB Spring 2012
Hi everyone! I recently finished submitting all my application materials as well. I took the TEAS 4.0 on 8/26 (talk about last minute... lol.) I'm already antsy about hearing back! Waiting is going to be so difficult. Does anyone know when UMB starts sending out letters? --Julie
