UMB Spring 2010 Applicants (BSN or CNL)

After following the Fall '09 thread with great interest, I thought it might be time to start a new thread for the Spring '10 applicants since we're inching closer to the Sep 1 deadline. I have a technical question for those who have applied before. I submitted my CNL application online this morning and paid the $50 and now it seems like my application has slipped into a vortex that I don't have access to. When I log onto SURFS to check my status, the only option that it gives me is to submit a new application. Is there somewhere else on the website that I should be looking to confirm that my application has been submitted and is pending review or awaiting additional information (transcripts, recommendations, etc)? Perhaps there is a delay between when the application is submitted and when the status is visible?

Best of luck to all the other applicants...now the agonizing waiting game begins! Looking forward to giving each other support and encouragement on this thread.

Totally agree - as does my husband. Everytime he sees me on the laptop he asks "checking the status of your application again?" :icon_roll

Does anyone know: will the status change from "Committee Ready" to "In Committee" then to "Accept/Reject"? I have been in "Committee Ready" for eternity.

from reading other posts from past classes i think it just goes from committee ready to accept/reject...

i know, i keep checking mine, it feels like it has been forever.

oh well, just gotta wait it out. i am hoping the adage, "good things come to those who wait" rings true in this situation..cause we have definitely waited!

I haven't participated in this post yet, but I read it everyday. I am soo nervous and I am glad that I am not the only one stressing about the wait!! It's almost over! Best of luck to everybody! Thanks soo much Greylady! You have been extra helpful in this process!

The "silence" on this thread for the last few days is indicative of all of us "holding our collective breaths"!! :nurse:

Dear Grey Lady and all,

November 8 is sunday. Will the UMB staffs work on sunday? Or the letter will officially send out by mail or email on Monday 9 Nov. I try to ignore the waiting game but it keep coming back to my mind :) HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL

tic.... toc.... tic.... toc......time is moving extra slow....this extra one week seems like another month...i wish they hadnt postpone the decision date...we would have all known where our fate lies. BUT HEY!!! GOOD LUCK IS ALL OURS!...I AM POSITIVE WE WOULD ALL GET INTO THE PROGRAM!
