my status has been complete ready for review decision: committee ready for probably about 2 weeks now.... still no change. :heartbeatwaiting waiting waiting! let us know if anyone hears!!!

2 of my friends that applied to the BSN program got acceptance letters yesterday...Have any CNL applicants heard anything yet???

hmmm, maybe there were more cnl applicants than the bsn so the process is taking longer. i applied for bsn, so thanks for letting us know about their letters! maybe some of us will get one today, wishful thinking! hang in there

Does anyone know when exactly courses will start upon acceptance? Will it be the same as all Fall 2010 classes or earlier in mid summer?

I am surprised to find that the academic calendar on the UMB School of Nursing website stops at Spring 2010. Fall semester, as long as I have been here (5 years) has started the Monday of the last full week in August. So that would be either Monday, Aug. 23 or Monday, Aug.30. Also, Orientation dates (and it is two full days) have not been firmed up yet but are typically one or two weeks before school starts. Even if Orientation was not mandatory, you seriously do not want to miss it.

Was wondering if anyone knows what the typical daily schedule for CNL students looks like during the first semester? I know the website lists the progression of courses, but that doesn't say anything about a schedule. Is there more than one section for all of these courses?

The class schedule for fall is due to be posted on the School of Nursing website next week. Click on "Current Students" and go from there. Be warned, however, that before you set your life in stone there can be unanticipated last minute changes.

The CNL applicants are reviewed and processed totally separately from the BSNs by separate committees. So you can't really assume anything relative to when you will hear versus the other group. April 1 is the goal and spring break is next week.

Pretty sure their spring break is this coming week march 15, sigh. I was hoping mine would change by the end of the day today, but so far nothing.

hmmm, idk. May depend on when your application was considered complete, like when everything that they needed was turned in. Or like Grey Lady mentioned, they may be farther ahead in the process, but behind with updating the online status! I keep telling myself no news is good news at this point.
