Just saw this thread! I was accepted into the GEP FNP track about 2 weeks ago! So excited I am pretty sure I will be headed there this fall/summer!

Ceddybear, Sorry just saw your comment! You probably already had your interview but mine was at 11:00am

Kerrjc I am pretty sure I am going to Umass (still waiting on the official offer letter though). I also applied to Simmons and MGH both of which I have not heard back from. Do you think your going to head to Umass? Was it your first choice or are you thinking of heading elsewhere?

Lulu41 -- yep I'm going there! It was my first choice. The facilities are amazing and the staff seems wonderful as well. I like the way the program was set up and I like the size much better than MGH's huge program. I applied to Rush in Chicago and have an interview coming up that I committed to before I found out about UMass so still doing to that, but I am sending my deposit in for UMass--I'm waiting on my letter as well. So excited!

Oh awesome! Ya I completely agree about the size. I was not impressed by MGH, the whole program felt very impersonal. I did like Simmons though but the amount of money their program costs is insane. Umass is cheaper AND you get your DNP. I also just got a good feel from the program and everyone I met! I talked to ****** and she said they were sending out letter last week but I never got one! Hope they are coming soon!

Ya I'm sure they will. Not sure if you're from around the area but with all of the snow and whatnot that could have caused some delays as well! Not concerned about it :)
