UMass Amherst 2020 ABSN

Hello,

I am starting this forum for the UMass Amherst 2020 Spring start. Has anyone else finished their application yet?

I have a 3.06 cumulative GPA and a 3.21 GPA from the school I graduated with my bachelors from.

We are supposed to recieve admissions decisions in March 2020 but I hope they dont make us wait that long.

The woman I just spoke to in the Nursing department said if she's not mistaken they will be sending out both email and letters

The New Student tab is gone for me too

The person you just spoke to that said they are sending both emails and letters, did she say when they are sending out the emails?

She said the letter were in the process of being signed And since they are sending both email and letters to expect something between the beginning to middle of next week.

@33b_r_i_a_n_n_a33 when I mentioned the email to her she said nope no email will be sent. And this was -------------- I spoke with.

Every response is different she said that letters were being stuffed and they will try to send them out today. I’m not sure why she told me no emails would be sent. Their process is very weird.

@gabstet610 yeah if ------------------ said that maybe it is true. I’ve spoke with her a few times and she seems to know what is going on.

As for emails in the Email we received after submitting our application, it said they usually send emails on Tuesdays and Friday’s. So IF we were to get an email maybe tomorrow or Tuesday? Not sure.

I was really hoping she would have told me on the phone if I got in but I was to scared to ask. Most likely she would have said no lol

Just got off the phone with ------------------- as well. She said that the LETTERS WERE ALL SENT about 20 minutes ago!
As for emails they are having some issues with email addresses not being recognized by their system (I.e Yahoo emails) and they are working with an IT guy now. Her words exactly were “were working with the IT guy now to get some responses out to you real quick”.

@gabstet610 she kept calling emails “letters” until I clarified so I think there might have been some confusion!

@33b_r_i_a_n_n_a33 wow thank you so much! That is all super helpful! From what she was saying about the emails... do you think, if they fix it, we will receive the emails today?

@alc08no problem! And I hope so! I think they feel some pressure because of the glitch so I’m sure they’re trying ASAP, but unfortunately she didn’t mention when it will be resolved ? Hopefully before the weekend at least!
