UMass Amherst 2020 ABSN

Hello,

I am starting this forum for the UMass Amherst 2020 Spring start. Has anyone else finished their application yet?

I have a 3.06 cumulative GPA and a 3.21 GPA from the school I graduated with my bachelors from.

We are supposed to recieve admissions decisions in March 2020 but I hope they dont make us wait that long.

@gabstet610 yeah not sure why, that’s weird and stressful. I guess we just have to wait until we hear via email.

Hi guys,

I read on UMass' website out-of-state tuition was the same as in-state tuition. Is it wrong?

Just checked the ABSN webpage and it is the same for in-state and out of state. about 40k a year, not including additional expenses. It's certainly stressful. I wish I never checked that section of spire!

Also, I just checked the 2018 cohort thread and RoseReyes wrote:

And later in the thread stated, "I feel like a good amount of us got waitlisted ? Good luck to all of us!".

The anxiety is killing me!!

Ugh sounds like a glitch then. Well fortunately enough we’ll be hearing for sure soon.

So guys. Bad news, it was a glitch ? we will not be getting a email decision but a hard copy letter. They are trying to send everything out today so fingers crossed for next week.

Hi everyone,

I agree with everyone. They need to fix that glitch because it definitely brought my hopes down.

And I thought that they were sending out an email and a hard copy letter ... (sigh) I thought they would send out early emails like in the previous years.

Oh well. ?

They also got rid of the New Student tab on Spire ?

Oh my gosh. So the whole thing was a glitch?!? This is crazy stressful. Let's hope they send an email too so we can get the news faster!
