UMass Amherst 2020 ABSN

Hello,

I am starting this forum for the UMass Amherst 2020 Spring start. Has anyone else finished their application yet?

I have a 3.06 cumulative GPA and a 3.21 GPA from the school I graduated with my bachelors from.

We are supposed to recieve admissions decisions in March 2020 but I hope they dont make us wait that long.

@33b_r_i_a_n_n_a33 I work in Mercy ED, we’ve prob met before if you work for AMR!

also @OctaviaF I’d start looking soon since a lot of leases will be ending May/June!

Hi everyone,

I have some questions about the program. Is it better to have a car or is there reliable transportation? Also, is there a FB group?

@FtrMdyf_CNM im sure we have met at some point then!

@blossomppg if you live in Springfield you just be able to take the busses but I think a car would be best

There is reliable transportation, PVTA, but I would def have a car. To be on the safe side. The PVTA has never been perfect. Plus you wanna be on time to classes and all clinical sites.

Hey guys!! I got my email this morning at 9:45, and I got in!! I can’t wait to meet you all in August and for those still waiting- you got this! With all the technical problems that have been happening I’m sure the emails are just weirdly spread out!

So I called admissions and they basically told me that I should look out for a response by March 1. not feeling very hopeful right now ?

Can someone tell me what is the total cost of the whole program (17 months)? Is it ~40k? Thanks!

I would say yes closer to 43k after fees or so.

But they haven’t update the website if there is a price change per credit so I’m thinking it’s right around that.

Also, is there a FB group?
