Hello,
I wanted to start this thread so those who are applying to the summer 2011 Ukiah Valley Medical Center's Versant Residency RN program have a place to communicate. Feel free to post about any experiences with Ukiah, the hospital, and the application process. I would also love to her from past Ukiah Valley Versant Residents if any of you are out there! :)
Check you emails....I got a sorry to inform you message (below). Not suprised after receiving so many rejection emails! It's actually fine with me cause I've decided to make other plans. Good luck to everyone else!!!!
Dear: Versant Resident Applicant
I would like to thank you for your interest in the RN Residency Program at Ukiah Valley Medical Center. As you know, we had an overwhelming response to our posted positions for the residency.
We regret to inform you that after careful consideration you have not been selected to move forward in the interview process. We would like to acknowledge the challenge that new nurses face in this current economic environment. We hope that you find your place in a healthcare setting that is meaningful for you.
Thanks again for your interest.
i got the rejection email today. i get about 5-10 every day, so that was just another... although i was also thinking it would be nice to move away from this rat race and live up there..... oh man, i WISH i had sent a thank you after the open house - didn't even think of it since it wasn't an interview.....i hope the people who are chosen succeed and do great. meanwhile, this is beyond any frustration ever imaginable... licensed since July 2010.....
@zdressler: I am in the exact same boat as you! Licensed since July 2010 and have had 3 total interviews, all of which have been in other states. I have every certification known to man, great references, and still no job offers. I have an interview on the East Coast next Thursday and really hope they offer me a position. It's really wearing on my soul after applying to 500+ positions. I send you my best wishes and good juju!!!!
