Hi All, I will be moving to Fayetteville, NC from CA to start my New Grad Progressive Care Residency at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and am soooo nervous. I was wondering A) if anyone has experience at this hospital and B) if anyone had any advice on what to study before I start my orientation. I haven't touched a patient since my last clinical rotation, which was in May of 2010 and am getting pterodactyls in my stomach. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

I just had my interview for the progressive care residency and was wondering how you liked it? Sounds like a great program. Any info you could share would be greatly appreciated :)

@zdressler: I am in the exact same boat as you! Licensed since July 2010 and have had 3 total interviews, all of which have been in other states. I have every certification known to man, great references, and still no job offers. I have an interview on the East Coast next Thursday and really hope they offer me a position. It's really wearing on my soul after applying to 500+ positions. I send you my best wishes and good juju!!!!

I'm also not from TX and I've not heard anything... no interview request etc... and my status still says "routed". Is it safe to assume that I didn't get in?

Hi everyone. I'm new here but I, too, am interested in the upcoming residency program. I was wondering if anyone has a saved copy of the reference sheet for our clinical instructors to complete. I will be seeing them tomorrow and would love to have them be able to fill that out. To ORRocks... Congratulations on getting the job, that's wonderful :) And thank you for all of your advice... I'm doing everything in my power to make myself stand out and be noticed. To all of those that plan on applying the next round, best of luck to all of you.
