Hi People
I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
Hi! My agency is also Omanfil, and my application is currently under review. I have so many queries regarding this process. I really want to talk to someone who's in the same process as I am. My email add is [email protected], please send me an email. I hope to hear from you soon. Godspeed!
Hi fellow nurses! I have so many queries regarding NMC's assessment stage. I have submitted my documentss last December and it is still currently under review.
Did anyone here submitted their NMC documents with only one employer reference?
Did anyone here declare their volunteer work (as a RN) in a hospital as employer reference?
The NMC was relentlessly asking me to submit proofs and documents to verify my volunteer work as registered practice. I hope you guys can help me with this query. I would like to hear you soon. You can also send me an email: [email protected] Thank you! Godspeed. :)

Hi Glai!
I guess we are on the same boat as to the volunteer work. I actually submitted 2 references where my job title there was a volunteer. They asked me to send a proof to them that I was a registered nurse when I was volunteering. I hope this is the last of NMC's demands for my application. Hoping for the best!
