UIC Fall 2010 BSN Admittance!!??

Just wanted to start a UIC thread here since the acceptance/denial letters will be going out soon. I expect to get the decision by April 15.

Does this mean everyone accepted and waitlisted? I have my fingers crossed.

after I called the nursing dept I got a call from Ms. Fern (she was returning my phone call) and she said that they cant say how many ppl are on the waiting list (idk why the receptionist said 50 but that was an average) and she cant tell us our rankings on the wait list.

She said, "400 ppl were denied admissions and that its an honor to be on the waitlist I just want you to know its a positve thing"

I dont know what to do bc I have been accepted to another really great school but this is my #1 choice

I know what you mean RNTB 2012, I got waitlisted too. Luckily, I have been accepted to another school. UIC was my first choice. However, I am in California and the cost for out-of-state tuition would be immense. Let me know if you get a call. Good luck

Will do! Hopefully we both get the news we want to hear, but I guess from what Ms. Fern was saying, getting waitlisted was an accomplishment in itself, I mean we were competing against over 500 ppl so hey, whatever happens, happens for a reason, Good luck! :D

Same for me, I got accepted at Truman but UIC is my first choice by far, and I don't know how long I should wait around... I'm really impressed that you even got a hold of Ms. Fern and she told you those things...

I was surprised she called me back so soon too, I honestly wasnt expect a call from her untill next week...

who has gotten acceptance??

so noone has gotten acceptance or rejection letters from UIC yet? just waitlist emails? thats so weird...my acceptance and rejections come in the mail...
