UIC Fall 2010 BSN Admittance!!??

Just wanted to start a UIC thread here since the acceptance/denial letters will be going out soon. I expect to get the decision by April 15.

Everyone who does not get accepted gets waitlisted. The question is how far down the list have they placed you? I have not received any emails from UIC (Chicago) today. Maybe that means I got accepted (hopefully) and they might send those emails out later in the week. Who knows?

Ms. Fern said the waiting list is very selective she told me how many ppl make in on there but I forget what the number was, so no not everyone who doesnt get in gets waitlisted.

Aww man, this is killing me, I haven't gotten an email yet!! I wonder if they are slowly sending out the UIC CON emails today? I hope it comes this afternoon!!

It sounds like they are sending the emails out an a case-by-case basis, instead of batches. I'm still waiting. Kind of excited myself :)

I wonder if they are sending out rejections, acceptance, and waitlist letters on different days??

someone I know just got waitlisted and she had a 3.8 gpa!! mine was def. not that high but at the risk of sounding a bit conceited, I did have some killer essays.

I just called the nursing dept. and they dont release rankings untill a few weeks and they accepted 80 people and 50 on the waitlist and she said they usually go about 1/3 of the way down so God willing I get in!

also she said everyone should get an email by the end of today :)
