UIC Fall 2010 BSN Admittance!!??

Just wanted to start a UIC thread here since the acceptance/denial letters will be going out soon. I expect to get the decision by April 15.

Emails were just sent!! I Got waitlisted...what does that mean?? I know not everyone gets on the list but How many actually get in that are on the list?

Good luck to all of you! I remember how I felt this time last yr waiting to hear from UIC. You should get an email before you get an actual letter & to those of you who are told that you are being put on the waiting list...don't give up hope! I was waitlisted & had all but given up hope & then a week before classes started I got a phone call from UIC. Now I am less than a month away from completing my first yr at the UIC CON (& even made the Dean's List)!! It is an awesome program & hopefully I will see some of you around in the fall!

How does the waitlist work? how many people are put on the waitlist and how many get accepted from the waitlist?? I just got an email saying I was waitlisted :(...I keep calling them to find out but no answer!!

congrats 2012-rn2b on ur waitlist.i have not gotten an email yet.well u might be lucky and get called anytime or even few days before classes starts because i have heard of cases like that.i think it is just few people they put on the wait list

i recieved the email not too long ago, I really hope I get in! Who else has gotten in or waitlisted??

I applied to the urbana campus but i have not received an email or anything yet! i hope it comes soon!!!

no I called like 10 times no one is answering, I wanna know how far I am on the waiting list!

Everyone who does not get accepted gets waitlisted. The question is how far down the list have they placed you? I have not received any emails from UIC (Chicago) today. Maybe that means I got accepted (hopefully) and they might send those emails out later in the week. Who knows?

i dont think that is entirely true that everyone not acceped get waitlisted.they send outright rejection letters to people who were denied and not waitlisted.i have not received anything either although i applied to the urbana campus.

I figured that since everyone does not meet all of the requirements.
