UIC Entry MS for non-RNs

Hi! I didn't see a thread so I thought I'd start one. 

I just got an invitation for an interview today--eek! Anyone else?

Any tips/knowledge of what types of questions get asked in these interviews?

Just got acceptance letter as well!! I am so excited for each and every one of you!

I got the same, it's a contingent acceptance. This means as long as you complete the prerequisites with a C or better by the end of the Spring semester, then you gucci!!

I checked the portal to see if it changed to accepted or something but it stills says additional review required.

Hi all! My application status has disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else after they received the department recommendation for admissions? (Can you tell I'm anxious?)

@redpandas9 phew. Thank you! I'm sure you're right! Until I get that admit letter from the grad school I'm on pins and needles ha.

Just got my acceptance from the grad school!! I imagine that is why your status disappeared. Perhaps you should check your email

I would LOVE to connect with you all and can't wait to work along side you during this fun but challenging moment in our lives.

 

What would be a good way to connect once everyone got there acceptance? Is there a facebook group or discord we can create?

Hi! Is anyone here currently on the waitlist? And if so did you guys receive an email to confirm your spot on the waitlist or anything? I'm just curious how they are going about this!

Also, congratulations ? to all that got admitted!

Hello! I was waitlisted and I did not receive any additional e-mails regarding the next steps so I e-mailed saying I wanted to accept a position on the waitlist which was then followed up with a response stating that there were no additional steps, to simply wait and if I spot opened up and I was next on the list that I would be contacted ASAP ?

Thank you so much, for your reply. I am in the same situation, didn't receive anything to "confirm a spot" which means they've changed the system since last year. However, I'm wondering what this means? Is it better or worse? ?

I guess will just have to keep on waiting. Please, do let me know if anything changes on your admission page. Mine currently still says "waitlisted"
