  1. @katieUSAF?? no email yet but I'm sure that's the case!! Congratulations! I think making a group is a great idea. I think past cohorts have made a facebook?
  2. @redpandas9 phew. Thank you! I'm sure you're right! Until I get that admit letter from the grad school I'm on pins and needles ha.
  3. Hi all! My application status has disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else after they received the department recommendation for admissions? (Can you tell I'm anxious?)
  4. ? my prerequisites might roll into July so looks like I gotta make a few phone calls today!
  5. So did I!! Congratulations!!
  6. Has anyone received any email updates or only portal changed? I reached out to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and he said that it just means it's still in review with the grad admissions but that we'll receive email updates in the near future. UIC is my only application this round and my top choice ?
  7. Mine also says additional review! I'm also currently working on my last two of rereqs. Fingers crossed?
  8. Hahah same! We were told by end of March? I also am just obsessively refreshing the application portal ?
  9. Hi all!! Just checking in. How's everyone holding up this week?
  10. I'm so impatient. Realistically I know we won't hear anything this week but I can't help but refresh!
  11. Y'all, this is going to be the longest wait!
  12. Hi @nello! You're gonna do great! Our room didn't have time left for questions. But, when you're done in the breakout room, you can go back to the main room and ask any questions you have. We didn't have time to ask meaningful interview questions to the faculty though.
  13. @danaa of course! It was a group interview, about 5 interviewees total (including myself) in a breakout room with two faculty members. They'll ask a question and then everyone answers round robin style. The questions were very straightforward. Things like, what are your strengths, what can you bring to the nursing profession. It was very casual! I would say just be mindful of your time and try to keep your answers succinct.
  14. Hi @katieUSAF!! I was able to do mine yesterday too! I feel like I blacked out- it went so quickly. It's going to be so difficult waiting a month for decisions ?
  15. Hi all! I'm doing my interview with UIC on Feb 14! I'm wondering if anyone's able to share their stats? I have no idea how competitive this program is. My undergrad is a ba in education and accumulative GPA of 3.68. I currently work as a clinical research coordinator and had good letters of rec from my PI and NP. however I only had two of the pre reqs completed and they were from an undesirable program. Good luck everyone!!
