  1. I don't think it's a good idea to work as an NP with no experience as a nurse. People will also treat you differently if you are a provider with zero experience. I'd do the program that takes longer to become an NP so you can truly be the best NP as possible.
  2. I got this too!
  3. When I was doing my own math about it it was like $60k. I some reason still can't believe it's $24k. It feels wrong! LOL
  4. Just got an acceptance email! Anyone else?
  5. I got in! But I probably won't go, so that's a spot off the waitlist for someone ?
  6. im hoping im in the same boat as I haven't heard a peep!
  7. I didn't get anything either! Damn
  8. Hi! I applied too. I think I have 86 points. Hope we hear back sooooon! I can't believe people found out by 2/16 last year. The app was due 2/10!
  9. Hey! I kno it's kind of an old thread but I was also recently accepted and I was wondering when you found out about your financial aid? Did you have to do the formal intent to enroll or how did that work?
  10. Hi! I wanted some insight into DePaul direct entry masters versus UIC direct entry masters. I got into DePaul and am waiting on a decision from UIC, but I was curious if anyone knows which school is "better?” Or if anyone has attended either, why did you choose that school? Any insight is welcome!:)
  11. I just called and we're all good- LOL
  12. Hi! How were you able to confirm they have your transcripts? When I check Parchment, it says they downloaded one of my transcripts but the other still says "Sent" (Back in Nov).
  13. Hi! So my science prereqs are 4.0 My last 60 units- im not sure if the prereqs are included because I took them after undergrad? But in undergrad its like, 3.5, but if prereqs included id guess around 3.8 I've been a CNA at a hospital for almost 3 years letters of rec from 2 professors and 1 nursing supervisor. I applied elsewhere and also plan to take the TEAS soon to apply for the community colleges also.
  14. You sound like the perfect candidate. I will be surprised if you don't get in. Good luck!
  15. Hi to all who were accepted! Anyone mind sharing stats?!? Volunteer hours or paid work hours?
