Published

Hi everyone! I'll be applying to UH Sugarland's second degree bsn program this upcoming spring. I have a bachelors in Biology. I would love to hear from others who are applying as well. Best of luck!

Im applying too! I just took the TEAS and wanted to know what scores are considered competitive for UH Sugarland. Does anyone know?

75 on each section.

I think the program coordinator said the average was a 90 for last years cycle!

@evelaboy Thank you!

Are you currently a student there? If not, what program are you attending? Thank you!

CONGRATS! what were your stats when you applied? And how was the nursing school process with it being so condensed?

Oh nooo I meant I graduated my with bachelors in May 2019, but thank you LOL! I’m applying for the second BSN 2021. I currently have a 3.5 and I take my TEAS June 25th.

Have you taken the TEAS already?

Have you taken the TEAS yet?

LOL! Gotcha!

I am applying for the same cohort as well and a few other universities. It will also be my 2nd BSN. Good luck on your TEAS! I just took it and am debating on taking it again.

How was it? Everyone tells me the science section is the hardest?

Good luck as well ?

GIRL! The science was extremely hard for me. You had your usual function/parts of the body, hormone questions and then there were like 6-10 questions about things I swear I had never seen or studied for... and I had both ATI and mometrix books, I downloaded the apps, watched Youtube videos, etc. I studied for 6 weeks before. -- everything else was pretty easy. Do not underestimate the grammar/english portion either. I could have done better there and that was my lowest score out of all sections.

Any questions, let me know! I know how I was feeling before taking it and studying, etc.

Im stressing about the science! I have both books you mentioned and Im watching you tube videos for each body system. Which apps did you use?

Does anyone know if the CPR certification is required prior to applying? Or after admission? I cannot find anything about it on the website.

It’s under frequently asked questions. It doesn’t say when though

Afterwards. They let you know once you get accepted ..
