Hi everyone, 

I'm a prospective 2024 Gepn applicant since the 2023 cycle is now closed. Just wondering what is in the essay part of the application this cycle. I am graduating Spring of next year with a degree in Public Health 3.8 GPA, and currently working on my prerequisites.

Did anyone receive any confirmation of the School of Nursing receiving their application? I received a confirmation from NursingCAS after submitting, but nothing else. Just wanted to check, in case I was missing something.

No, only NursingCAS confirms. I was also scared that I might’ve missed the UH nursing app. I ended up emailing them before the deadline to confirm and they received it. So, as long as you submitted the GEPN app before the deadline you should be good.

Question- Has anyone applied to scholarships, yet? I am worried about how I will financially support myself since schooling will be very expensive.

Hey prospective students! I just got an email from the department saying that decisions will start rolling out in January.

Yes, it seems that there were a lot of applicants, as to be expected since the admission process changed. Lots of anticipation during the Winter break!

Does anyone know if they usually notify you by email or do they call you?

I believe they will email us and send a hardcopy mail. I know, I'm nervous for the results too. I'm curious to find out how they picked the applicants this time.
