I’m surprised that no one has created a forum for Cohort 2021 yet when application opens in a few weeks. Anyone here planning to apply to Manoa’s GEPN ‘21 program or is already in the program willing to give advice? Pointers? Feel free to share ??⚕️

also, I read somewhere that the admissions committee recommend a track for you? IDK I’m getting all my info wrong
Here is the website that you can go to for more information https://nursing.hawaii.edu/graduate-entry-program-in-nursing/
You can also contact the GEPN coordinator for more information regarding your application. They also have a list of events that includes the upcoming sessions regarding the GEPN information.

Congratulations potato_nurse!! I'm waiting to get my results (I did my application at the beginning of this month). I was informed it would be through the mail. Which program track did you apply for?

Congratulations Sethc! I'm a bit confused because I was told that the letters would be send via mail or are they also sending through email? I'm patiently waiting for my results, which I am assuming that I may hear by November time since you and potato_nurse had both applied in September. What program track did you apply to? I'm wondering if they're notifying for the MS and DNP unless they're doing the MS first. Thanks!

Nice!! I was in between the MS and the DNP but I applied for the DNP. I'll follow up with everyone once I get my results. Thanks!

Hi Tropicalbreeze,
I attended the GEPN review session this year, which was really helpful. According to them, they take about 50 students each year. 25 for masters and 25 for AGACNP/FNP route. The application cycle is rolling admit with applications opening up on September 1st.
Hope that answers your question. Good luck.
