Hey Everyone )
I thought that I would start a September 2017 intake thread. It is a bit early compared to other threads, but we can chat as we prepare for the deadline. What applicants are applying with and chat about the program or anxiety.
Ngilmore I totally understand, I am so nervous too.. I know that it's mostly ethics-based questions; those can be tricky to answer sometimes. Basically I've just been trying to prepare by practicing how to answer questions with proper grammar, and I've been timing myself so I can answer them in a good amount of time

2As and 2Bs (average was 82%), 600 hours of volunteering, past experience as a care aide assistant in a care home, experience working on a suicide and crisis hotline, and rejected for the second time. I'm heartbroken but at peace, though I got accepted into the UFV LPN program and I plan to bridge into RN one day. I think everything happens for a reason and I just have to keep a positive attitude, plus maybe LPN was meant to be for me. Thank you everyone for the help and best of luck with your applications, whether accepted or rejected. XOXO
My cousin did a bach of RN about 15 years ago when the average acceptance was 60%, I wish things were still like that but times change. I can't imagine how much more competitive it will be in the future.
