UFV September 2017 Applicants

Hey Everyone :o)

I thought that I would start a September 2017 intake thread. It is a bit early compared to other threads, but we can chat as we prepare for the deadline. What applicants are applying with and chat about the program or anxiety.

I just double checked, and the group is closed meaning anyone can look it up and request to join but only members can see posts.

Actually sure, we might as well get everyone in the one group since the 4 year and fast track people will have classes together for 2 semesters. After that, fast track people can do what they want lol. Everyone join in! :)

Can anyone refresh my memory on how the semesters work for fast track students? I thought semesters 1-4 were done all together and then fast track broke off with the LPN access in year 3?

@clwpac - I believe the first two semesters are done together, and then the regular class breaks during summer whereas fast track continues onwards. So I think fastrack continues on for year 2 rather than 3. :)

Hey can anyone help me did you get in with these grades... should I go and retake my English 12 !? =[

I have a B in English 12, and a B in English 105 would this be competitive and trump the English 12 mark or should I retake English 12 and get an A

Grades going in so far are

English 12 B

English 105 B

Chem 11 B

Math 11 A

Biology 12 A

Hi there! I was just accepted for the January intake at UFV and they were saying it is getting very competitive. There was a higher number of students (at least for this intake) applying with all A's. I would definitely recommend upgrading one of your Bs to an A, or even both if you can! But definitely upgrade at least one of them. Good luck!!! :)
