UFV September 2017 Applicants

I thought that I would start a September 2017 intake thread. It is a bit early compared to other threads, but we can chat as we prepare for the deadline. What applicants are applying with and chat about the program or anxiety.

Applying with 3A's and one C+ 90 hours of voulnteer, I know its kind of a long shot but we will see what happens.

I applied with 1 A and 3 Bs but I'm retaking bio 12 and hopefully getting an A. I spoke to a guidance counselor and I was told that the last intake average was 3 As and 1 B and only 10% of applicants were accepted. I also applied into the LPN program and I hope to get somewhere.

I am applying again with 2A & 2B. Working on upgrading 1B to an A but I unfortunately will not may the deadline. Will see anyways. Good luck !! :o)

Does anyone know if they are determining grades using the UFV grading scale? Or is it from our high school grading scale, because they are pretty different. Using the Ufv grading scale one of my grades becomes an A- instead of a B

Hey there the GPA is calculated using the UFV grading scale!

You guys all have such high grades. I've applied to the program with 3Bs and 1A. But have over 4000 hours of work experience so hopefully that helps a little bit.

So excited to have finally received my complete applicant email yesterday!

I applied with 3A's and 1B and submitted two references, each roughly 90 hours, although I'm not sure if they'll take them both because one was from a hospital and another was from a dental office (which I'm not sure if they'll allow). This is my first time applying!

I applied with B, A-, A-, and an A+, and 3.5 years of work experience. Reeeally hoping to get in, fingers crossed for everyone! :)

Does anyone know when info session emails are coming out? Also does every applicant get invited to the info session?
