  1. Can anyone refresh my memory on how the semesters work for fast track students? I thought semesters 1-4 were done all together and then fast track broke off with the LPN access in year 3?
  2. Is it for fast track students too?
  3. Congrats!! I don't think ones been made
  4. In the email offering us a seat it mentioned receiving a email with our acceptance package on the 26.. does anyone know what that includes? Will it give us a book list and/or a list of where all the supplies we need can be purchased? Or is it just going to instruct us when our deposit needs to be paid and how and when to submit a criminal record check and immunization form?
  5. If I'm remembering correctly I think she mentioned at the info session that roughly 8-10 people are waitlisted and generally a couple people from the waitlist are accepted because not everyone will accept their offer
  6. I'm fast track as well!
  7. I GOT ACCEPTED!!!
  8. That's exactly the scariest part- we're all so neck and neck in marks that it's really just down to interview because that is worth the most points out of the remaining categories for points. I feel like questions were somewhat what I had anticipated but there was 1-2 that kinda surprised me. I found I was more nervous waiting to go in than when we were actually sitting and talking with the interviewers. It's such a blur though that I can't even remember what I said for them. I felt pretty good when I left the interview but now that I know everyone is done and that I can't recall my answers I'm not as confident. The odds are roughly 50% so that's not to bad! I'm just fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to make it this far considering how competitive the intake was this year! Best of luck everyone!!
  9. Completed my interview! Now to patiently wait. How does everyone feel they did?
  10. Has anyone gone through the interview process before and have any tips for those going through their first time?
  11. From my understanding it was that a group of 7 applicants sat down and discussed the interviewing format and then each went into separate offices and had a interviewer ask one question-allowing us 5 minutes to answer. She had said 5 minutes was more than enough for the January intake, so I'm guessing you either just patiently wait for your next interviewer or make small talk and see if they can answer any questions you may have. I'm not sure if there gonna get us all together before or after interviews to ask questions or if we will do that individually with each interviewer
  12. I don't think it's in order they received your application because I applied a week and a half before the deadline. Maybe it's alphabetical?
  13. Just received my email for the information session! I'm attending the Wednesday night! I am SO excited and scared all at the samonce time! Anyone have any idea what we're gonna be writing about in the first 30 mins?
  14. I've only applied to UFV
  15. I called the health studies office, and apparently they are hosting the information session a little later this year, and it's most likely taking place the second week of April (so we should hear by the end of march or first week of April). She also mentioned that not everyone is invited to the information session, and that she is unsure what the gpa cut off is this year because they're still reviewing everyone. I wonder if there was a lot more applicants this year and that's why it's taking longer?
